The Fifth Annual International “Capoeira and Brazilian Dances Festival” takes place on 16 May 2010
Capoeira unites combat, movements, music, dance aspects. Capoeira is a Brazilian national sport
Capoeira Festival is a two-hour striking memorable show, live music, the only Brazilian professional percussion orchestra in Ukraine, Masters from Brazil and the best capoeiristas of Ukraine.

Special Guests of the Festival:
Mestre Barrao
At present one of the most famous capoeira masters. In 2000 he was recognized as “Capoeirista of the Century”. Mestre Barrao is capoeira champion of Brazil. Government of Brazil awarded him for his contribution to the development of Brazilian Culture.
He is the founder and president of Capoeira federation in Canada and the author of training disks on capoeira and 8 disks of capoeira music.
Professor Barraozinho
Heads Grupo Axe Capoeira Academy in Canada. He is a triple champion of Capoeira International Competitions, winner of MMA fights in Victoria (wrestle style - capoeira and Brazilian jiu-jitsu).
Professor Tigrao
A capoeirista famous for his unique game street style, repeated winner of ultimate fighting. Conducts classes in Calgary (Canada). First time in Ukraine.
