III-rd annual festival of capoeira and brazilian dances
By 2008 the amount of people in Ukraine, become interested in capoeira, has grown in 3-4 times, in comparison with the last years. Still a lot of branches of "Grupo Axe Capoeira" has opened in Kiev and other cities of Ukraine.
The seminar has already traditionally passed in the end of April and has drawn to itself the big attention as capoeiristas, and representatives of mass-media.
Trainings took place in territory NSC " Olimpiysky " in the big convenient hall where students from schools of Kiev Kryvyy Rih, Kharkov, Khmelnytskiy could be placed. Representatives of schools from Belarus, Poland, Russia - more than 150 persons engaged.
Trainings by extent of 5 o'clock, with a small break, passed during four days and have ended with a traditional concert (« Batizado and Troca de Corda ») « Festival of capoeira and brazilian dances ».
To festival have been invited: the ambassador of Brazil in Ukraine, the art directors of a known clubs of Kiev and, certainly, all wishing to see representation and appraising of capoeiristas.
In this year we were visited by representatives of mass-media: man's magazine Men`s Health, What’s on, internet edition of Utro.уа, Afisha, Timeout. They announced event and have helped a lot people to find out about a concert-show in the Central House of the Artist on April, 27th.
Sponsors of the festival - company MGI Consulting and LLC EGO have helped with the organization of festival, have received the diploma and gift T-shorts of the festival from organizers.
In the evening in news have passed plots about festival, interview to participants and organizers of the festival on TV (Inter, 5th channel, City, К1).
