II-nd annual festival of capoeira and brazilian dances
In April, 2007 has passed a seminar and festival of capoeira in Kiev. This event - a holiday not only for capoeiristas, but also for fans of exotic programs.
Capoeira trainings passed during four days, during which teachers (visitors from Brazil, Canada and other countries) conducted trainings for the students of the school who have gathered from all Ukraine and the near abroad. On trainings guys fulfilled new movements, worked above style of game and participated in roda.
The busy schedule of trainings, on 6 school hours in a day, enables engaged to lift their level of skills.
Mestre Barrao has been invited by the Ukrainian information portal "Obozrevatel" to online conference where within several hours he has answered on more than one hundred questions set by visitors of a portal.
Final day of festival - performance in the big hall of the Cinema «Zoryaniy». A flyer and invitation on actions were distributed from the very beginning of the festival (on April, 23rd).
For capoeiristas it is an opportunity to show themselves and their art, for the spectator this is a bright original show and an opportunity to lead evening in a funky way.
The purpose of carrying out of such action it not only to increase genera level of capoeiristas, and popularization of the brazilian culture as a whole.
On a stage of spectators 2 hour program waited: dances, percussion, solo performances of capoeiristas; Maculele, Afro, Coco de Roda.
In a hall there were representatives of popular mass-media (TV, radio companies) which prepared for the information and plots on action, photographers of glossy magazines and periodic press.
We are grateful to sponsors of the festival who have helped with the organization of such holiday, they had an opportunity to give the information on the services and to place advertising production in a hall (banners, flyesr, booklets).
